In this thread we pretend to be snobby GMs ...

in my last simul the last Thursday at my favorite seafood restaurant, I knew this guy was a hapless moron when he countered my 1.e4 with a c5, knowing fully well that's I'm an undisputed expert in the Sicilian! At the end of our 79-moves game in which I swiftly executed my just wrath on him, I refused to shake hands with him and didn't tip the waitress, because there's no legal obligation for that. Why don't THEY become GMs and cash in big time at paid simuls like myself?
You must have dug DEEP down into the archived forums of Chess.com to find something like this.... Oh wait, this IS what all their forums do.
"I don't have a mental opening book - I have an encyclop(a)edia encompassing all chess knowledge."
“Portisch asked Najdorf for his autograph. Najdorf said: "Five dollars, please." Portisch was surprised, but Najdorf added: "That's what Fischer would say!" Tal then approached Portisch modestly, with "Please, only two dollars for mine..."”
“Najdorf on Fischer's absence when the official photographs were to be taken: "He prefers to enter chess history alone."”

I daresay, if I would get a penny for every time I see a botched English Opening, Symmetrical Variation, Anti-Benoni Variation (A33), I could pay the monthly rent for my very spacious appartment!
I wish I could offer my opponents to resign before the game has even started, so we both could have our times saved.
