Stronger player pool?

Hi,
some time ago I was 2100+ player here but lately I am struggling to get to 2050+.. Could it possibly be because of more stronger players are comming to this site?
Or am I simply losing it and play worse and worse over time? ...
It is a bit frustrating...

I've dropped a healthy amount of rating points in the blitz pool, but I've also massively changed my style which I assumed was the cause. Would be cool if it wasn't! So no idea, but I'm another datum in the same direction.
