In this game I had black pieces and I checkmated my opponent with my knight. I dropped my bishop at c5 to protect my pawn from the black king so that knight takes c7 would be checkmate and it seems that the fact that my bishop is also forking my knights helps to masque the reason that I dropped my bishop at c7. One of my opponents escape squares is occupied by his/her own pawn and one is guarded by my pawn and the king can't take the pawn because it's guarded by the bishop. Also the pawn and the two minor pieces helping with the checkmate happen to form a right triangle.
The question is does this qualify as a semi smothered mate?
