I was low 1500 in February 2020. I decided to study many games by masters and strong players and decided to study openings.
I studied the Italian Game and French defense and also the nimzo - indian. In no time my rating was 1650 or so. Then I started going to chess coaching and watched videos to improve my chess, I studies the endgame and borrowed some endgame and opening books. After that in in may 2020 i had decided that I would study chess 5-7 hours a day.
It all paid of. By august 2020 I was a solid 2000 player and by the end of the year I had reached 2100. I then started playing bullet extensively and even played my first over the board tournament. Ever since, My bullet has reached 2300 and I have become a strong player(I think!). I constantly do puzzles and studies on Lichess.org. Now all I have to do is to wait for covid to completely end so that I can play more OTB Tournaments.
