Add gothic chess to this site?

It's a very tactical game with two additional strong pieces, the Chancellor (Rook and Knight) and the Archbishop (Rook and Bishop). The two extra pieces and the larger board makes the game very interesting with different attacking combinations. They also have very unique properties, like the Archbishop alone is able to checkmate a king in the corner.

I found a site where you can actually play against a strong CPU player:
fr.jocly.com/gothic-chess

Try playing it and let me know your opinions on this game. I would like playing it against human opponents. ( Fyi, you are able to change the board interface to 2D if 3D is too confusing)
Meh, I'm not fond of any variants with fairy pieces.
A patent is mentioned on the website tho, do you know what's up wit that?
I had a game but the computer must have been on easy or something because it really put me under no pressure and was mated pretty easy.

I didn't like the design of the pieces so much (King, Queen and fairy pieces all looking similar) the clue was when you click on them it shows which squares they can move to.

The bigger board made it feel like there was lots of space to move in.

I prefer normal chess though I guess there would be some audience for this one.
I love variants far more than traditional chess, but I've never found a variant I like that involves pieces or formations other than the traditional 16-piece set up.
There is a list the mods always show when someone is asking for new variants (can't find the link, sorry) – if I'm not mistaken, this variant *is* on that list.
BTW, seems like a very cool variant! :-)
