JannLee is a LM now?

Did someone just say bureaucrats?
Here is one for you. ;-)

"Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes,
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts
With my blurglecruncheon, see if I don't!"
Lichess invented the title, why would anyone think they can say who does or doesn't deserve it? The "norms" needed for it are entirely made up, and anyone who knows about JannLee's history knows he deserves LM.
JannLee deserves a better title, or a higher one. it should be exist another online Title for players who exceeds 3000 ratings points, or maybe a different color of the word: " LM " , more brilliant for instance.

thus, JannLee nickname will be highlight on other common LM Masters.

This is just ... ideas.

"[EDIT] Due to lack of manpower, the LM application is closed. There will not be any more LM."

lichess has been a victim of its own success i see.

this LM thing was nice when lichess was a smaller community and all, but now we have a lot more players (and a lot more strong players!) AND the whole process became so convoluted that it can't even be handled anymore.. perhaps it's just time to erase the titles and move on like they had never existed?
Hi everyone,

The LM showed up without notice or request the other day. I do appreciate that this may have been applied as a kind gesture to acknowledge my recent support for lichess. However, if it was to be removed due to insufficient criteria to appease the masses I would understand.

Hope this helps those on either side of the fence.
LM Lightsss, that's a pity, I've been playing with achieving the LM title in mind but not as a direct goal... otherwise I might have made it in time
I think LM should be granted if you are #1 in a variant, or blitz, bullet, classical. Even reaching 2600.
When someone is widely recognized to be the best at a particular endeavor, quibbling over whether they meet some artificial criteria of achievement seems immaterial. The guy is a beast and it is awesome to have him on lichess.

#11 - I prefer the work of Paula Nancy Millstone Jennings...
