The Palestinians organization Black September killed Israeli athletes in the Olympic village. At the time I was a 15 year old athlete enamored with the ideals of the Olympics .I was completely shattered and couldn't watch the Olympics for many years.
I do see many parrellels between the situation now and then and I only hope the upcoming Olympics are peaceful and not marred by political ideologies .
